About Us
The Idaho City Arts Council Inc. (ICAC) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the arts in the Boise Basin.
Boise Basin is located northwest of Idaho’s capital city of Boise, along State Highway 21 and is defined by the streams that flow into the Boise River—Elk Creek, Grimes Creek, Mores Creek. It is here where gold was discovered in 1862. And it is here where you will find a vibrant community of artists finding solitude and inspiration in the area’s diverse beauty of pine trees and sagebrush, wildflowers and wildlife and small town lifestyle.
This year we are concentrating on building a community of local artists and bringing their art to the community at large. We will also continue to bring theatrical productions to the schools and to sponsor the Local Musician Concert.
